A U S Hospital plan contemplates a $150 000 appropriation for use at once with provisions for enlargement as necessity evolves. Director Frank T Hines indicates the proposal would allow for a new hospital facility if required by the case and would provide for contingencies in the event of greater demand.
In the District Court of the State of Iowa Marion County you are notified that by September 1923 the clerk will issue the portion of the summons in the case of Vroem versus Zwank et al. The plaintiff claims absolute ownership in fee simple and undisputed possession of the described premises in Marion County with spellings in the record showing variances.
F T Metcalf Treasurer of Marion County Iowa certifies the report is a correct summary of the business transacted by the treasurer during the period specified. The document is dated June 27, 1928 and appears in Knoxville Indiana.
The state highway commission plans to pave about three and a half miles of old No. 24 now U.S. 63 from Des Moines to southeast county. Work starts at once with contracts let next Tuesday.
