The Peoria Stockyards softball team defeated Montezuma 10 to 6 on the local field Thursday evening. Mr and Mrs John Wester hosted guests Loretta and Frederick Sunday evening after church in their home. Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Harold De Vries on the birth of a son Bryce Allen last week with four other children in the home. Mrs Wicks De Vries and daughter Joyce assist. Wilma Vroegh and Shirley Roose plan a Denver trip visiting Hockman sisters and Barbara Roose polio patient after surgery. Transportation undecided.
