Rean Verwers born September 4, 1830 in Marion County Iowa endured a long life linked to Fidel School. He married Rem De Leeuw of Pelle Lewn on April 21, 1914 and they had four children William H of Otley Marion C of Kellogg Mrs Tunis Celig Vomk of Oskaloosa and Mrs Walter Sr.
