Iowa Legislature Enacts Bond of 250 Laws and Reforms
Des Moines April 14 Nearly 1200 bills were introduced across Iowa’s two houses. about 250 became laws. Enacted measures include abolishing tax ferrets, funding good roads via automobile tax, creating a Commerce Counsel with Railroad Commissioners, setting a nominal tax on monies and credits, forming a tax revision commission, raising assembly pay, and approving bulk sales and life certificates for teachers.
