Sandridge Notes on Events mostly in April
Sandridge reports on a busy sequence of local happenings in early April including a Chapel Air Program delivery by Mr. Fred Dykens for a Youth meeting with Dr. William Ward Ayer speaking, visits among neighbors, and attendance at a Women’s Edification League event at Beth el Christian Reformed church. The High and Junior High bands performed under Stanley Schleuter with encores, and several residents are noted for travel, status updates, and a major farm sale north of Pella. Continuous rainfall affected lane access and the Cancer Crusade progress in North Lake Prairie township. Congratulations go to Faye Van Wyk for Hawkeye Girls State selection, and a four-day Easter vacation allows NWMSC students to visit home. The Emmet and Nellie Anty estate farm near Pella was sold to John S. Gosselink’s family, who will reside nearby.
