Automobilists report mixed road conditions across townships
Local motorists note good roads in most townships but Lake Prairie is in bad shape and the Pella to Otley state road is awful with deep gullies. County remarks claim Jasper superior to Marion for road quality yet taxes paid by 186 motorists in Jasper have not yet funded road improvements. Citizens urge Supervisors to spend funds on township roads and expect concrete bridges and culverts. Auto enthusiasts attended the Bohemian Girl performance in Oskaloosa. A T Boot bought a Ford touring car from Star Auto Company.
