Glee Club Tour Pleases Waterloo and Osage Crowds
The Glee Club performed in Waterloo at the YMCA building and First Baptist Church drawing larger audiences than before. A surprise $20 gift from Mr. Shriver boosted the treasury as the group enjoyed Osage visits, river trips, and post cards, with notable acts by Nies, McDowell, and Van Cleave during a lively tour ending with well attended Sunday services and a funny, acclaimed performance.
