County Seat Happenings in Marion County
At the regular semi monthly Marion County Board of Pension Examiners only one applicant appeared James Yartley of Dallas. Abbot of Dallas township appeared before the County Insanity Commission seeking transfer to Mt Pleasant hospital. James Yartley is the sole attendee among exam candidates. Roy Brown formerly with Rock Island departed for Kansas City or Arizona opportunities. D H Houser suffers rheumatism illnesses prompting move to Soldier's Home hospital in Marshalltown. Mrs. Houser in frail health remaining largely confined since last October. Judge J D Gamble and family returned from California Texas trip with son in law J A Wagner of Des Moines. Gamble to open April term in Dallas county court. Mayor Gibson ordered a Kansas City distillery salesman expelled after disruption from town intoxication.
