Palm Sunday program at Central College Douwstra Chapel in Pella will feature Christ in the Concrete City, a Passion Play by the New Pilgrim Players. Free to the public, the hourlong performance spotlights Holy Week observance with Central College students also touring Illinois venues Morrison and German Valley to support Holy Week events. New Rules for Postal Service Take Effect April 29
Ed Wesselink, local postmaster, reports new Post Office Department rules for the final quarter of fiscal year 1956 57. Pella will close on weekends with limited delivery and adjusted window hours 8 30 a m to 6 p m weekdays. Third class mail only medicines sera drugs and medical supplies after April 29 and money order sales end. Saturday mail will be dispatched with drops only at 8 00 p m and no city letter drops except at the post office.
