Richland Blue Bells 4 H club met at Cynthia Butler’s home on November 8 1968 to install new officers for the coming year. Eleven members and two leaders attended with Jaci Stursma giving a talk. A lunch was served by Cynthia and her mother. Debates on club activities followed.

Dinner guests at Forrest Walker home included the Walker family Ames and Cook family members. Mrs John Breed hosted Monroe Mothers club No 7 with Mrs Neal and Mrs Roy Vander Ploeg assisting. The club voted to sponsor Youth for Understanding and outlined roadside plans.

International Livestock Show Opens November 29
The 69th International Livestock Exposition will open November 29 and run through December 7 at the International Amphitheatre Chicago Stock Yards. Exhibits from 40 states and Canada include 37 breeds of cattle, horses, sheep and hogs, with 8000 entries anticipated across 13 acres of show space.
