Pella Hosts Highway Trip and Tourism Push
The Iowa State Highway Commission field trip will stop in Pella with about 35 members, coffee at the Library and Courtyard in the Pella Historical Museum, plus a public relations program by the Chamber of Commerce. Southeast Regional Workshop set for Mt. Pleasant on June 10 invites all interested in historical projects, with details at the Chamber office. The Dutch Fronts Committee proposals promise interest with interest free loans or 25 percent reimbursements to boost enrollments. The office promotes local tourism materials while urging cautious long term planning and noting travel industry growth in Iowa. Stay In Iowa IDC theme may yield a record year for the Red Rock area.
