Negro Leader To Speak At College

A renowned civil rights figure described as one of the ten most outstanding personalities of the year will address a college audience. The speaker, listed in Who’s Who in America, has earned about 250 civil rights citations and more than 20 honorary degrees. He studied at Morhouse College, Crozer Seminary, the University of Pennsylvania, Harvard, and Boston University, and has lectured at 200 colleges. He traveled widely and attended Ghana’s independence celebration in 1957 by invitation of its Prime Minister.

Meeting Focuses on Corn Fertilizer and Storage 1967

The session centers on fertilizer use for corn with Q and A on other grains and ages. It is the second meeting this year on corn production. Last week Jack Templeton of DeKalb Agricultural Association Grinnell Iowa spoke on modern corn hybrids. Future talks will cover corn storage herbicides and insecticides for 1967.
