Eastern Star pays tribute to school teachers in Pecos
Pecos Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star held a Back to School themed program with Martha Hudson reading Prayer of a Teacher. Current chapter members on public school staff included Barbara Cooper Doveta Hunt and Joe Ann Jackson. Invitations to friendship rights were extended to Fort Stockton Jal NM and Wink. Plans covered a district luncheon in Dallas on Oct 3 during the grand chapter session and social events in Dallas, Monahans, Plainview, and Fort Stockton. A petition for affiliations was read and a card was sent to the Barney Hubbs family after a death.
