Conference to set standards for Texas teacher education
More than 600 educators attend the 32nd Texas Conference on Teacher Education at the Austin Hilton Inn October 28 to 30. Dr. M M Lyn Gubser of NCATE will keynote the opening session. Discussions cover regional accreditation funding structure faculty characteristics and quality control. Grace Grimes chairs the 16 member panel reporting Tuesday morning with plans to replace the State Board of Examiners. All sessions are at the Austin Hilton Inn.
