Pecos Chapter of Eastern Star marks 72nd anniversary
The Pecos Chapter No. 81 marked its 72nd anniversary with a Monday night session in the Masonic hall. Speakers Marthana Hudson Clara Fra zier Joyee Macha Barbara Cooper and Marvin Frazier shared accomplishments and chapter meaning. Ona Pointer opened and closed with a prayer. The chapter, chartered Oct. 10 1901 by Agnes V. Young W.S. Hillyer and Laura B. Hart, now counts about 165 members.
