Juveniles Held for Shoplifting at Pecos Firm
Two juvenile boys ages six and eight were turned over to county juvenile officer John Lewis after being apprehended on shoplifting charges at Sprouse Reitz in Pecos. They concealed merchandise in their clothing and fled the store.

Burglars Hit Zavala Junior High During Weekend

Minor city accidents end without injuries
Two minor accidents were investigated by city police Sunday with no injuries. In the first, at 10:25 a.m. in the Airbase area, Tomas Mata backing into a parked Guillermo Gabaldon vehicle caused the damage. The second occurred about 2:42 p.m. when Joyce Macha backed into Terry Pogue’s car from Pecos on 2129 S Park St.
