Balmorhea honors its athletes at school banquet
Balmorhea High School held an athletic banquet in the cafeteria Friday with remarks by Lew Rodgers and Texas Tech coach Dale Evans. Awards went to Juan Jiminez, Abel Baeza, Tommy Dominguez, Melanie Turnbough, Teresa Rodriguez, Marty Lethco and Felipi Fuentez with fighting heart honors to Ross Norton. Dominguez placed third in the mile at Boys Regional. Rodriguez finished eighth in the 880 at Girls Regional after a fall.
