Mardi Gras at Toyah Stirs Local Joy and Dolls Parade
Toyah PTA observed St Patrick’s Day with a lively Mar Gras themed show at Star Theatre. Green and white decorations, novelty booth, and a Doll Parade drew cheers as fifteen girls paraded dollies adorned with flowers and crepe paper. Local civic members and performers entertained, with Miss Ruhrup Wars Kling er and Mr Yee directing the program.

A special meeting of the O B E S was held Tuesday evening to initiate Miss Jean Rhodes. About thirty members attended and refreshments of ice cream and cake were served by Mrs. Marl McElroy, Mrs. A G VanHorn, and Mrs. H Mystrom. A district court writ commands Alma Gibson to publish a four week statewide citation in Reeves County Texas to appear at the April 25 1927 district court in Pecos for divorce action against Alma Gibson filed by A B Gibson.
