After two years at large two young men wanted since July 1932 for the Citizens' State bank attempt in Barstow were captured. Indictments were returned at Barstow and Sheriff Irby Dyer secured the pair in Henderson. They await trial in Reeves County jail.
Harry Watson Jr manager of the Watson Anderon grocery Co distributors of Budweiser here was confined to his home at Alpine last weekend by a touch of the flu. Dick Chambers went fishing Balmorhea Lake last weekend but returned empty handed. Dr John R Bock the dentist visited Van Horn on Monday and Tuesday of this week. Cub Wheeler geologist for the Plains Production Co located in Pecos for several weeks left for Dallas late last week.
Bir and Mrs W W Dean visited Carlsbad and El Paso last weekend. Their daughter Mrs Dave Sudderth of Monahans spent Saturday and Sunday in Pecos.
Attorney Hill D Hudson transacted business in Breckenridge Texas last week. Mr Isaacks brother of Rutledge Isaacks Pecos visited over the weekend. Isaacks works with El Paso Times display advertising. T Y Casey departed for a Dallas visit Monday night. Jim Dunnigan of Dunnigan Tool and Supply Co. conducted business here early this week. Mr and Mrs Norman Wisenwine attended the Fat Stock show in Fort Worth last weekend. J F Pop Biggs and James Deakins visited Fort Worth Fat Stock show last weekend. District Judge J A Crane District Attorney William L Kerr and Court Stenographer C M Waite Jr were in Crane City for the 109th district court session.
