Lamar 76 fun aids fund drive Bicentennial Day event
Lamar Elementary observed Bicentennial Day with colonial costumes and activities to aid the Easter Seal Fund. Students churned butter, flew kites, recited poems, and toured colonial displays while a concession sold bicentennial treats. Games cost a penny and a change stand assisted, with $13.95 donated to Harvey Tinkler for the Easter Seal Campaign.
