Atlantic Reeves of Atlantic Richfield Co. drilled to 11 930 feet total depth to repair a rotary rig seven miles west of Toyah and 13 1/2 miles southwest of the Toyah Pennsylvanian and Devonian gas area. The site sits 660 feet from the south and east lines of section 42, block 71, PSL survey. It aimed for 12 000 feet as a Silurian Devonian wildcat.
