A former pastor of Pecos First Christian Church, Hamilton is described as powerful and well prepared. He plans further talks in Barstow Balmorhea and nearby towns, promising educational, inspirational, spiritual, forceful sermons.

Talks on Receiving Little Children Casting Out Devils in Christ's Name Salt is Good. Minutes read by the secretary treasurer. New members welcomed.

Charles Allison Jr. honored his eighth birthday with a Thursday afternoon party at Mrs. Clyde Andrews’s home. Outdoor games entertained guests before refreshments of ice cream cake and lollipops were served to Francis Caroline, Paul Warren, George Breen, Joe Bob Kelton, Brawley and Tom King, Dar el Glover, Lena Bell Warren, Joe Mdna Hudgeons, Sadie Lee Buchanan, and Marcell Simmons. Charles Jr. received many fine presents at the celebration.
A heavy downpour began about 3:30 Friday morning soaking Pecos and surrounding areas and likely extending north into Reeves County. The rain lasted about an hour before settling into a drizzle, with steady rain still in progress as The Enterprise went to press.
