Santa Rosa Church History and Milestones Narrated
Santa Rosa Catholic Church traces its 1889 origins from St. Catherine's mission with a wooden 915 E. 2nd St chapel. The 1924 brick church and later remodelings reflect community effort, schooling by Arselin and Immaculate Heart sisters, and a 162000 loan for a new hall. Parish groups, a credit union with 1.5 million in loans, and notable clergy moves complete the account.
