In a Friday night Pony League matchup between the Tigers and Barstow Bears, Joe Quiroz of the Bears was struck on the head by a ball and suffered a cerebral concussion. He was rushed to the hospital, examined by Dr. Brier, and discharged Saturday afternoon after an overnight stay.
James Henson reported a break in at 413 East Fifteenth Street with a White's tape player and ten tapes stolen from his 1963 Pontiac.
