Citizens for Tax Reform seeks to align with Carter plan
The group Citizens for Tax Reform in 1978 is a public interest outfit aiming to back President Carter's tax bill. It formed after an April White House breakfast, supports a roughly 15 billion tax cut, and tracks administration positions via a small staff of four in a Pennsylvan ia Avenue office. The coalition includes about 130 groups and individuals, among them several labor unions and minority, consumer, and women’s groups.
