Pecos Texas resident Alfonso A Esparza son of Amando Esparza was promoted to Army specialist five on June 19 while serving with the U S Army Depot in Vietnam. A mechanic at the depot headquarters near Camp Ranh Bay he entered the Army in October 1966 after attending Pecos High School.
