Vacuum cleaner powered piano contraption in Texas
Louis Kubala, a 68 year old machinist from Taylor Texas, builds a mechanical band by using a vacuum cleaner motor to drive air into player piano components. He repairs, tunes, and converts player pianos costing about 1200 to 4000 dollars, and plans a second model selling around 5000 dollars. He enjoys the tinkering and music, not the work.
