Free immunization clinic set for Tuesday at health department

The Texas Department of Health Resources at 1010 W. Third St hosts a free immunization clinic this month. It runs from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and asks attendees to bring records of past immunizations. The next clinic is scheduled for February 24 at the same time.

Resource teachers to show learning aids in Pecos

The Reeves County Association for Children with Learning Disabilities will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Austin Elementary School. Resource teachers Karen Smith and Barbara Cooper will demonstrate methods and materials for perceptual motor, math and Gillingham reading programs with resource students participating. Parents and interested community members are invited to attend and learn about special education programs in Pecos schools.
