Chamber backs Pecos club aid at annual meeting
The Pecos Chamber of Commerce pledged support for the country club during its meeting this week. Dr. Jim Camp noted the club had raised more than 12,000 for assets and cited needs to cover past due obligations to an El Paso building and loan association. Ken Regan praised progress and anticipated further beautification, while Albert Sisk warned that local entertainment must grow to retain workers on the Red Bluff project. W. L. Sherrod affirmed chamber backing as utilities donated for the new NRL office and furniture and residence use were provided.
