Public Auction For Abandoned Vehicles Noted In Reeves County

Reeves County Sheriff's Office warns that several abandoned automobiles stored at Texas Service Station Balmorhea will be sold at public auction twenty days from now under House Bill 1181. Vehicles include a 1970 Pontiac, 1971 Chevrolet, and a 1966 Ford with various VINs and state licenses. Deputy deputies Prest and Prewit handle inquiries in Pecos, Texas. A separate Colorado program, Project Explore, seeks wilderness preservation with Camp Trails backing and gear pools to promote camping as a low impact recreation option.
