Development of the Mason Kyle field northeast of Mentone plans Mason No 3 spudding this weekend 660 feet west of No 2 Kyle. Drilling to start this week or early next with Fred Postelle as contractor. A Winkler county grand jury indicted Gordon William House alias Larry Daily for robbery with firearms linked to the kidnapping of Mrs. W. J. Johnston of Wink. House claimed Daily as an alias and California as residence. fingerprint checks revealed multiple aliases and active warrants. He previously lived in Van Buren Missouri and is sought by federal authorities on the Dyer act. earlier he stole a car, crossed the country, burned it, and escaped Rankin jail for burglary.

Four thousand acres to be put in cultivation at Grandfalls

Low Bid Refused for Red Bluff Power Line Unit
Julian Montgomery the state director of the PWA refused Kenneth Mason of Dallas the bid for the first unit of the power transmission line through the Red Bluff irrigation district.
