Gardner Couple Celebrates Golden Wedding Anniversary
Mr and Mrs W A Gardner were honored by their children at a February 3 home gathering in Pecos. Married in Fort Worth on February 2, 1918, Ada Savell Gardners’ husband served in France in 1918 and later worked for the postal service before retiring in 1958. The event included relatives from Albuquerque, Hurst, Mesquite, and Fort Worth, with flowers, boutonnieres, and a refreshments table of gold roses.
