Vita Vita Class Executive Meeting Plans Loyalty Week
Officers of the Vita Vita S. S. class at First Baptist met with teacher Mrs. E. A. Retliff Monday from 10 to 12 to plan for Loyalty Week. They increased weekly quota to 25 dollars, voted monthly executive luncheon to discuss class issues, and noted membership growth from about 20–25 to around 50. The Christmas party is scheduled for Friday at the church with members and prospects invited.

Garden Club Celebrates Fourth Birthday Party
The Garden Club marked its fourth anniversary with a Monday afternoon gathering at Mrs. C. Finley’s home. President Mrs. W. F. Reeder and past president Mrs. A. G. Van Horn attended along with Mrs. H. H. Johnson and Mrs. W. F. Howard. the program opened with Christmas hymns and a history overview, followed by a yearbook presentation, the club’s fourth.

Oh Professor musical draws crowd and funds for library
About 150 people attended the high school auditorium Friday for the musical comedy Oh Professor. A sizeable sum was raised for the library fund while the cast of 60 local performers delivered songs and dances under director Mrs. William Kerr. The Pecos Federation of Women's Clubs sponsored the production, praised for entertainment and financial success.
