Christmas Decoration Program For Pecos B&PW Meeting
Pecos Business and Professional Women held a Christmas decoration program last Tuesday night. Miss Sue Cobb guest described indoor and outdoor scenes, with Pecos-made displays. Hostesses Bonita Hart and Johnnie Standlee arranged holly mantels and a decorated tree, while gifts from Santa’s mailbag and refreshments followed.

The Lewis and White wedding was solemnized at a Van Horn church with a reception at the Community Center Banquet Hall. Attendees included many relatives from Hobbs El Paso Roswell and Portales. The couple plans a mission work start in Van Horn and have ties to Pecos Texas Tech Floyd New Mexico and Floyd Lewis. A rehearsal dinner honored the couple the night before.

Barstow honors retiring Commissioner Theresa Walker
An appreciation party in Barstow honored County Commissioner Theresa Walker on December 7 at the Barstow Community Center. About 115 friends attended as Mrs. Jo Allgood and Brooks Jenson helped decorate a roads themed table. Walter Henn presented a watercolor titled Have You Ever Been in Barstow on a Saturday Afternoon.
