Turkish rebels rebuff Khomeini peace group in Tabriz
In Tabriz ethnic Turkish rebels reject a peace delegation from Ayatollah Khomeini's regime after heavy fighting. Rebels recaptured the radio station and governor's mansion but could not hold them. The Moslem People's Party refused talks while U.S. hostages in Tehran remained in captivity on day 37. A U.N. spokesman said Kurt Waldheim would send Sri Lanka's foreign minister to visit the hostages as Washington prepared its case against Iran.
