Fatal Barstow teen dies after car crash injuries
Miss Frances Martin 17 daughter of Mrs. Edgar George of Barstow died in a local sanitarium Saturday morning from injuries after leaping from a speeding car east of Barstow Wednesday night. Wiley Hamilton drove, the vehicle overturned as he tried to stop. She had a fractured skull and brain concussion. Born in Dallas, she lived in Pecos and Balmorhea before moving to Barstow. Funeral services were held Saturday at Pecos Funeral Home. Pallbearers named. she is survived by her mother and a younger brother and sister.
