Kathy Lou Hannah and Jeffrey Lynn Brookings exchange wedding vows in a double ring ceremony at Calvary Baptist Church Jal New Mexico with Rev Eldon Cook officiating. Attendants include Judy Farnum as maid of honor and Randy Brookings as best man. Reception hosted by Mrs Lessie Woodard and Mrs Andy Hannah followed in Church Fellowship Hall. The couple will reside in Jal New Mexico where the groom works for General Telephone Company.

Thanksgiving Observed by Pecos Eastern Star Chapter
Pecos Eastern Star members held a Thanksgiving meeting with a dinner and seasonally decorated head table. Earnestine Winterrowd led a program about Pilgrims and Thanksgiving history, followed by a Circle of Friendship and songs. Officers opened the ritual, reports on projects were given, and a note of thanks from a hospital was read. A December meeting will feature a Christmas party as an extra.
