Roger Moore as James Bond headlines Moonraker now playing at the State Theater Pecos through Tuesday August 21. Country China Closet is owned by Sue Toone, with Fanny Camp as consultant since last August. The shop, open 1 to 5 pm, will lengthen hours after school starts and hosts painting classes led by Rachel Martinez on Monday evenings. The business, a franchise of American Handicrafts, carries kits and frames for china painting, decoupage, macrame, crewel, cross stitch, stained glass, and latch hook. Mrs Toone, a former third grade teacher, lives on a farm in Saragosa with husband Dale, a County Commissioner, and has two sons. The porcelain Art Club meets monthly at the shop, charging $7 membership.
