Record promoter on telephone for hours TODAY
Pam Zimmerman, RCA Nashville small market promotions manager, spends eight hours daily calling radio stations from her Nashville office to push RCA and Free Flight records such as Waylon Jennings. Her routine mixes casual chat with catalog pitches, noting station play and chart action while managing a roster of 200 stations and avoiding laryngitis.
