Accidents Reported At City Intersections Saturday
At East Second Street and Almond Street a car driven by Pedro Salgado Lopez hit a bicycle rider, 11 year old Juan Padilio, who was taken to Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. No citations issued. Later, on Eddy Street near the Safeway, Sharon Saras Oates and Augustine L. Natividad collided. Natividad cited for failure to yield.

Burglaries Reported Across Pecos With Several Items Stolen
The La Favorita Liquor Store at 404 East Fifth Street was burglarized after midnight Monday. A three and a half inch hole was cut in the door to gain entry. Large quantities of liquor and beverages were taken. A cigarette machine at Rex Owens Laundry on 915 South Cedar was broken into but no cigarettes or money were taken. Window break and cigarette machine damage occurred at Gateway Gulf 419 East Third Street with an undetermined amount of money and cigarettes stolen. Fuentes Furniture at 312 South Pecan Street reported a Thursday burglary after 6 PM. radios and other items were taken. No injuries reported in a two vehicle collision at Highway 285 and Ninth Street.
