Humble Oil & Refining Co filed to drill wildcat No. 17 Beall Gas Unit about one mile northeast of the Beall field in Ward County. The well aims to 16,500 feet, 933 feet from section lines in ALS district five miles southwest of Wickett. The Mary W Evans No. 1 showed 15 million cf gas daily on the Ellenburger, and 122 barrels oil and 166 barrels water with 3.8 gas at the Devonian perforations.
