Deaths and Funerals in Balmorhea and Reeves County
Funeral services were held for Marcos Duran Subia 69 of Balmorhea at Christ the King Church with burial in Balmorhea Cemetery. Subia died in Odessa Medical Center after a long illness and is survived by his widow three sons two daughters a brother a sister and 13 grandchildren. Juan Q Carrasco 61 of Balmorhea died after an apparent heart attack at Reeves County Memorial Hospital and was father of Commissioner Ismael Carrasco. Services set for 10 a.m. Tuesday at Christ the King Church Balmorhea with burial in Saragosa Cemetery. survivors include Dominga and four sons and a daughter plus 12 grandchildren and several siblings.
