Pecos Optimists held a Tuesday meeting in Saragosa Hall. Ramon Nunez announced three Carver school boys would join the Texas State Track meet in San Antonio. The group also sponsored a girls softball team the Queens and welcomed new members. Scout Troop 91 to Camporee May 5 6 in Ker mit’s Winkler County Park. A dance with Sunny Qozuna and the Sunliners Orchestra is set April 24 at Santa Rosa Hall with tickets at the door. Proceeds go to Pecos youth programs.
