Seven Year Old Hero Saves Drowning Sister
In Fort Worth Texas a 7 year old boy Douglas, who cannot swim, dived into nine feet of pool water to rescue his 4 year old sister Victoria Marie after she fell in. He pulled her to the surface and both children survived with minor injuries. The scene unfolded as their mother Mrs Wood, home alone, heard the cries and watched nervously, then called the fire department. The mother calls Douglas a hero and says it was a miracle that both children survived without formal swimming ability.
