Gisela Man Rescued After Two Days in Sierra Anchas
Bill Burge and two companions rode from Young on horseback into rugged terrain northeast of Gisela. Burge, 56, stranded Thursday after falling behind in a deep canyon at Tonto Creek, was found Saturday by locals with help from Luke AFB helicopters and ground teams. He was brought to Payson Hospital in a confused state and discharged Monday.
