Wallace Rally Draws 1000 Despite Snow in Gisela Arizona
George Wallace drew more than a thousand supporters in Gisela despite near freezing temperatures and ankle deep mud. The event, organized by Arizonans for Wallace led by Ted Tatum, raised about 5000 with total costs around 10000. Wallace spoke on limited government gun control tax cuts and foreign policy, after landing by helicopter and touring the crowd with local escorts.
