Camping fees raised at two sites east of Payson

Regional Forester William Hurst in Albuquerque announced higher camping fees at two campgrounds near Payson, raising rates to 2 from 1. The new schedule affects 89 of 709 National Forest campgrounds in Arizona and New Mexico, applying only where water toilets and trash collection exist. Sixty percent of collected fees stay with the local campground to fund improved services.
