George Frederick Johnson was born July 1 1868 in Quincy and died September 14 1918 at St Lukes Hospital Boise aged 60. He moved west in 1900 to work for the O S S railroad and became Payette agent September 18 1909. He served Payette nine years and died nine years to the hour after leaving Burley. Services were held at home on Sixth Street conducted by Rev W H Swertz, with burial in River View cemetery. He leaves a wife six children and one brother.
