Pioneer Woman Passes Away After Long Mormon Trail
Mary Ann Thompson, born July 28 1820 in Lawn England, crossed to America with the first Mormon wagon train, settled Navoo then Salt Lake, and helped build temples. She died Monday at 92 in Payette at her daughter Mrs Holt’s home after years of ill health. She leaves two daughters Mrs Frank Moss and Mrs Will Holt Sr and other relatives in Indiana and Salt Lake. The remains were taken to Salt Lake for burial.
