Improving Streets Cleaning Up City Efforts Underway
The street and alley committee outlines a city led cleanup plan under a new law granting broader powers to address vacant lots and street maintenance. Citizens must clear lots by July first or face city cleaning billed to their property. City crews are already at work and will charge costs to property owners if not complied. Work continues on Sixth Avenue South with grading graveling drainage and new culverts and a 25 by 75 foot bridge near the Michigan Idaho Lumber Company slough as paving links increasingly traffic toward Payette.
